How to make educational games for children?

The truth is that creating educational games at home is not something very complicated, it is enough to let our creativity and imagination fly and make the most of the materials we have at home.

Here are two basic ideas of games that we can create at home.

Memory with caps

We can recycle all those small juice or soft drink caps that we find, to build a memory, which helps to exercise the minds of the little ones.

All you have to do is draw pairs of figures, objects or characters on small cardboard cutouts that fit inside the covers.

Then we will turn it face down and on each turn, each of the participants must uncover a pair of tiles, and go memorizing their location until they find the pairs.

Board games with questions

We just have to draw a board on a wooden or cardboard board, drawing a path divided into boxes, starting from a starting point to a goal.

Then we will cut cardboard rectangles, where we will place questions and answers according to the age of the children.

We will look for small pieces that will serve as tokens and start from the starting point.

We roll a dice and choose a question from the cards. If we answer it, we advance the number of squares indicated by the dice.

Whoever reaches the goal first will win.
